Loans can be a source of funds. Many firms finance their long range activities from loans borrowed from banks and other financial institutions. These require collaterals such as land, equipment and machinery. Terms of payment are indicated in a loan agreement.
Stock can also be a source of funds. This is certificate of ownersgip. A stock is classified as common and preferred. Holders of common stock can elect directors and can decide major corporate actions. In these case of preferred stockholders, they have no voting rights. But they have priority in claiming for profits and assets of the corporation. In general, only established corporations sell additional shares of stocks to the public to finance their business projects.
Another source of funds can the Bonds. This is a certificate of indebtedness. It pledges to repay a specified amount of money with interest. Such certificate indicates also the maturitydate. Big corporations issue bonds to raisefunds for their business activities. Bondholders have the first clain on the assets of the issuing corporation in case it gets bankrupt. Bonds are classified as debenture bonds, mortagage bonds and convertible bonds. Debenture bonds are supported only by the reputation of the issuing corporations, Mortgage bonds are secured by the assets of the issuing corporations, while convertible bonds can be exchanged with shares of common stock.

An Old Friend

Last week, searching in the internet, when I saw a picture of my friend. She was my friend when I was in primary level. I had a chance to chat with her. She told me that she is having her vacation abroad. She already had two child. While traveling abroad he get a girl in a mall. She is a fashion designer. As they talked to each other, my old friend asks her if where did she study. She said she studied somewhere in Florida. She said if you really are interested you can look at the sites about education. My old friend thank her. She told me that she visited the site and thinking if she’ll enroll there. I told her its a good opportunity why not. And she said she’ll try it.

Last night she send me an email stating that she just enrolled. I told her to tell me how it will going to be. She said she’ll tell me everything and she’ll even encouraged me to enroll too.

I remember when I was a child, I said to myself so, that I’ll be finishing the studies and get a course at college then finished it. At that time, I don’t know yet if what course am I going to take, when I watch television and so the reporters or a newscaster reporting. I said I want to become one. I even look at the mirror and act like I was reporting in a television also. Then when me and mother went to a dentist. After my check-up, and after leaving the clinic. I thought if I’m going to be a dentist, we don’t to go there. And even my brother and sister will be my patients. At that time, I wasn’t decided yet can would I be.

Now I’m a programmer, a course I never dreamed when I was a child. But as I grow old and with our technology now. That’s why I take my course.

As a wife, I have my responsibily at home. To cook food for my family, to take good care fot hem, to make our home look good and comfortable to stay. I am not a working mom, my husband work for us he said that I don’t need to work because hes salary is already enough for us and I just need to stay at home and do what can I do. I stay at home all day long, I just went out every time I need to go to the market and at our family days, during my husband’s rest day at work. We have 3 kids, 2 boys and 1 girl.
